Day 1: Arrival to Cairo Int. Airport
At night, free at leisure on your own in Cairo, the capital, clean, safe and modern city. You can take the chance to go for a marvelous “Optional Tour” to Islamic Cairo in the Mouiz Street, where you can visit the most unique collection of our Islamic monuments like the collection of Qalaun, El Aqmar Mosque,Beit El Sehemy and other interesting places. After your free tour, you will get back to your hotel to spend your first night in Egypt before the superb coming days enjoying your holiday in the land of the Pharaohs. (No Meals)
Day 02: Pyramids_Sakkara_Memphis
Our next stop will be to Saqqara, the royal burial site of the 3rd dynasty of the Old Kingdom in Egypt and one of the richest archeological places in Egypt with treasures being discovered until today. The highlight and the centerpiece of Saqqara is the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest surviving stone monument in the whole world and the first proper pyramid to ever be constructed in Egypt in the 27th century BC. This would be a marvelous chance to understand the evolution of the pyramids building in ancient Egypt. The step pyramid is considered to be one of the most important landmarks of pyramids construction in Egypt.
Our last stop of the day will be to Memphis, the first capital of unified Egypt. Established in 32nd century BC by KingNarmer after he unified Upper and Lower Egypt. The city served as the seat of the government until the 22nd century. However, all the displayed exhibited in the open-air museum we will explore today belong to the New Kingdom with the highlights being the amazing Colossi of Ramses II, the alabaster sphinx, and many other statues and items.
Later on, you will proceed to have the lunch meal at local restaurant. After lunch we will drive back to the hotel for rest and refresh. At night, free at leisure on your own in Cairo or (optional) sound & light show at Giza pyramids, where the startling sphinx will tell you the whole story and history behind the creation of the pyramids in an entertaining blend of sounds and lights. Day 03: Museum_Citadel_Old_Cairo
Our next visit will be to the Citadel, constructed in the 10th century by Saladin to protect Egypt and became the residence of the rulers of Egypt for a period that lasted more than seven centuries. The citadel itself is one of the most impressive medieval fortresses and it contains many remarkable monuments like the famous Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Mosque of El Nasser Mohamed, and many interesting museums. This is besides offering the guests amazing panoramic views of the city of Cairo. Later on, you will enjoy your lunch meal at local restaurant.
After lunch we will proceed to Old Cairo area, a part in the Egyptian capital that hosts some of the most interesting Coptic monuments in the country. We will start our Coptic tour by visiting The Hanging Church, first established in the 5th century and one of the most important historical churches in Egypt. Our next visit in Coptic Cairo will be to the Abu Serga Church, believed to be constructed where the holy family rested at the end of their journey, it was constructed in the 7th century. Our last visit in Coptic Cairo will be to the Church of Saint Mary, an orthodox church, built during the 5th century, restored and rebuilt many times afterwards.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for rest and refresh. At night, free at leisure on your own in Cairo or (optional) we can offer Nile Cruise Dinner, with the most delicious open buffet, a Tanoora show, a belly dancing performance, live music, and remarkable views of the river Nile. Day 04: Abu Simbel Temples & Aswan O.N.
Another comfortable air-conditioned vehicle will be ready to transfer you to Abu Simbel, located to the south of Aswan, near Nubia. Upon arrival, we will proceed to visit the Abu Simbel Temples, simply the greatest achievement of ancient Egypt. Constructed by Ramses II, the two temples are cut out of rocks and buried under the sand for centuries before being discovered in the 19th century. The temples were actually relocated after the building of the High Dam by a UNESCO project.
After a memorable tour of the temple of Abu Simbel, we will drive back to our hotel in Aswan. We will check in the hotel within few minutes! The rest of the day is free at leisure on your own, so you can explore the city of Aswan by night, totally amazing! Finally, you’ll get back to your hotel for overnight. [Breakfast]
Day 05: The High Dam, Temple of Philae & The Unfinished Obelisk
We will then ride in a motorboat to reach Agilika Island, the new location of the marvelous Philae Temple, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman era as the center of the worship of the goddess Isis. It is one of the most remarkable ancient Egyptian temples that were relocated after the construction of the High Dam and the water of the River Nile affected many historical monuments, the temple was transferred under a huge project funded by many nations and supervised by the UNESCO.
Our last visit of the day will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of the city of Aswan. If completed, the unfinished obelisk would have been the largest piece of stone humans ever dealt with. Dating back to the New Kingdom, it documents however the miraculous process of the construction of obelisks in ancient Egypt.
After the day tour, we will drive back to our Nile cruiser for rest and refresh. Afternoon, free at leisure on board in order to relax beside the pool on the sundeck and enjoy the incomparable view of the River Nile. Evening time is free at leisure in Aswan or there is a wonderful opportunity to go for an optional tour to the sound and light show at Philae Temple, in order to know the full story of the goddess Isis and her husband Osiris in the most marvelous ambience. There are in fact many legends and interesting stories which date back to the era of ancient Egypt. After that, you’ll get back to your Nile cruise ship for dinner and overnight. Day 06: Temple of Kom Ombo & Temple of Edfu
After visiting the amazing temple of Kom Ombo, you will get back to the ship, so we can enjoy the lunch on board while sailing to the city of Edfu. Enjoy the wonderful landscape of the Nile from the sundeck. Arrange yourself for the second visit of the day, whereas we will meet Temple of Horus in Edfu, the finest preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the land of the Nile. It was constructed by the Ptolemies in the 3rd century BC for the worship of the god Horus. The temple is featured with its marvelous stone columns and fascinating wall carvings.
Evening time is free at leisure to enjoy the Egyptian folklore show in the ship with a belly dancer and many other entertaining performances, or (optional) we can attend the sound & light show at Temple of Edfu, a wonderful chance to know the story of the temple through a startling sound and lights show which is enjoyed by everybody. Day 07: West Bank of Luxor
Enjoy your delicious breakfast before exploring the West bank of Luxor, the city of the dead where many marvelous mortuary temples and necropolises are located. Our first visit of the day will be to the Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. This was the burial site of the kings from the New Kingdom. This includes the marvelous tomb of Tutankhamen, discovered intact by Howard Carter in 1922 as the most important archeological discovery in the 20th century. The tombs are featured with marvelous wall painting which survived until today.
The next visit will be to the Temple of Deir El Bahari, which was constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt. The Temple is featured with its many terraces, the statues of the Queen with a beard, and its magnificent location carved out of one of the great mountains of Thebes.
Our last visit at the West Bank will be to the Colossi of Memnon, these two huge statues are the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC and became a landmark of Luxor afterwards.
After the tour, we will get back to the Nile cruiser to have our delicious lunch meal on board. Enjoy your Afternoon tea on board while relaxing on the sundeck facing the amazing view of the Nile. Day 08: East Bank of Luxor, Flight to Sharm El Sheikh & O.N.
Our next visit of the day will be to the Luxor Temple, another startling temple which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs. The temple is featured with its variety of design outlines and architecture. This is besides the huge two statues of Ramses II which ornaments the façade of the temple.
After this amazing tour in Luxor, you’ll be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor Airport in order to catch your domestic flight to Sharm El Sheikh (usually via Cairo). Upon arrival to Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, you’ll be met with our English-speaking representative there, who will transfer you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your chosen hotel there for check in, Dinner and overnight. Day 09: Free_at_Lesiure_in_Sharm_El-Sheikh
Evening time is free at leisure on your own in Sham El Sheikh, so you can explore this amazing city by night. Sharm El Sheikh is famous for hosting the largest number of nightspots including restaurants, cafes, discoes, bars, shops, and various stores and different types of entertainment or you can seize the chance to go for an (optional BBQ Dinner) with Bedouin party in the desert, where you can enjoy the delicious Bedouin BBQ in the marvelous desert mood and enjoy Bedouin music and dances. Day 12: Moses_Mountain_and_St.Catherine_Monastery
After the sunshine, we will go down the mountain to start visiting the Monastery of Saint Catherine, constructed in the 4th century AD as one of the oldest monasteries in the world. The monastery is still operating until today and it is featured with its marvelous architectural elements and its wonderful ambience.
We will then drive towards Nuweiba Port, in order to catch the ferry boat to Aqaba. Upon arrival to Aqaba port, you’ll be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to your chosen there for check in, rest and refresh. Day 13: Aqaba, Wadi Rum Tour & O.N.
In the afternoon we will set out for the desert of Wadi Rum, the wild desert landscape, which fascinated the British liaison officer Lawrence of Arabia. Describing Wadi Rum as “vast, echoing and god-like” we believe he could not have said it better. We will drive for two hours in a 4-wheel drive jeep through the desert to see Lawrence’s spring. We will pass majestic mountains and explore a gorge with some ancient rock drawings. You will have free time to hike on your own enjoying the silence of this awesome desert. Day 14: Shobek Castle, Little Pertra & O.N.

We move on to visit the Monastery of Petra, the largest and one of the most impressive monuments of Petra that dates back to the 1st century AD as one of the oldest surviving monasteries in the world. After exploring many other sections of the amazing ancient city of Petra, we will take our car and return to the hotel for overnight. [Breakfast]
Day 16: Kerak, Mount Nebo & Madaba
We will then drive by our air-conditioned vehicle to visit Madaba, situated 30 kilometers to the South West of Amman, the city is famous for its remarkable Roman and Umayyad monuments. We reach Madaba in 45 minutes to begin exploring the city.
We visit the St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, famous for its notable mosaics with scenes from Jerusalem, other towns in Amman and Palestine, and some scenes from the River Nile in Egypt. Also we will visit the Nebo Mountain, situated more than 6000 meters above the sea level which offers amazing scenes of the whole area. This is besides its religious significance for Christians and Moslems.
Our next visit will be to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, it consists of a salty closed lake with a surface area that is more than 650 kilometer square, the Dead Sea is featured with its high level of salts and minarets that are quite beneficial in curing many diseases and offers a marvelous feeling of relaxation.
After this amazing day tour, we will drive to Amman, where we will check in our hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure, so you can enjoy the amazing city of Amman by night before leaving. Overnight in Amman. [Breakfast]
