I've been corresponding with Ahmed for 8 months in organizing a 4 day tour to Jordan for a group of 4 adults followed by a 9 day tour of Egypt for 8 people. Ahmed also booked all of our International and domestic flights with people - [Cecil Dedmon | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/cecil-dedmon-usa/): Professional, exceptional and respectful service from the first welcome Excellent trip, highlight of our trip was Egypt. We toured Israel, Jordan, and Egypt. You can say we saved the best for last. Our choice to use Gat Tours was the best choice, service and personnel of the company could not have ask for anything better. From our first welcome into Cairo at the airport, it was professional, exceptional, and respectful. The guides assigned for our private tour also was remarkable, and very knowledgeable. - [Vashti Party | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/vashti-party-usa/): Memorable trip with such amazing service Gat Tours arranged an exceptionally tour for us throughout Egypt. We spent 4 day in Cairo, flew to Luxor, where we toured the East and West banks. We even went into the tomb of Queen Nefertiti, which has been closed to the public since 2003, although special arrangements have been made in the past, through Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities, for a nominal fee of LE 25,000. Thanks to Mr. Omar, we were able to secure our spot, have the tomb opened and we paid $100 US Dollars. We then cruised the waters of the river Nile from Luxor to Aswan via the Sonesta St. George. We enjoyed all the temples that were included with the cruise, along with a few others that were added to our itinerary, of course Abu Simbel being one of them. Last, we enjoyed an over day trip to Alexandria. Right from the start, Gat tours had our best interest in mind. Mr. Omar met us at Cairo International, himself and helped us through customs. The guides he paired us with were phenomenal. Sayed was our Egyptologist in Cairo and Alexandria, while Hassan was our guide from Luxor to Aswan. We had the same guides and drivers so we came to know them as family over the twelve days we spent in Egypt. I would highly recommend Gat Tours. Mr. Omar made my childhood dream of traveling to Egypt come true. Now for the nitty gritty: 1) Expect very long days, lots of walking, unless you’re only doing a cruise. Last be ready to listen. There is over 5000 years worth of history in Egypt. You will learn all about it over the course of your trip. Your mind must be ready to absorb it all within days. Having knowledge of what you are about to see only allows for you to enjoy the experience even better. 2) Expect early morning wake-ups. In order to see everything Egypt has to offer, you must wake early. Cairo is very busy with loads of people. Traffic is horrible. Therefore, in order to get where you need to be, you must arise very early. Most of our days started anywhere from 4AM-6AM. Note: It’s still pretty hot in Oct-Nov so drink plenty water. LOL! 3) Private Tour! Did I say private? From Cairo, Aswan to Alexandria, our tour was completely private. Even when you book a cruise, the cruise offers guides as you will dock and tour temples along the way. This is pretty typical of most cruises. Sometimes, I saw groups of 10 to 20 people with one Egyptologist. However, our tour was completely private which made our experience more personable. 4) Beware, Egypt has a census of 92 Million people. Many of the locals are poor. You will see many people begging or trying to sale you items. Therefore, just know that you will be asked to buy something wherever you go. Tipping is the way of life in Egypt. Just to be advised. The people aren’t too pushy. Just say no thank you or La Shukrun and the people will let you be. The guides never leave your side. They are with you 100 of the way. They are very helpful and want to assist you in every way. From suggestions on where to eat to suggestions on where to purchase a cartouche. They are there to assist you every step of the way. Furthermore, they ensure that the beggars don't badger you, which can be overwhelming for some. Overall, Egypt is extremely safe, unlike what’s portrayed in the news. The people are so nice and friendly. I cannot wait to return. 5) We booked 5 star hotel accommodations which lived up to every star of my American standard. One small issue which has nothing to do with Gat tours. There is a lot of smoking in Egypt. Smoking seems to be allowed everywhere. I never encountered such smoking is all of my life. Just note, smoking is also allowed at many of the hotel facilities. DO NOTE, ALL of our rooms were clean and smoke free. We loved all of our accommodations. FANCY SMANCY! Thank you to Mr. Ahmed Omar & GAT Tours for organizing such a memorable trip with SUCH AMAZING SERVICE. We look forward to seeing you next year! I have included pictures of our memorable journey! - [Irene Morillo Family | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/irene-morillo-family-usa/): Top-Notch Service - Really Outstanding! I researched and contacted numerous tour companies in Egypt before settling on GAT Tours. Mr Ahmed Omar responded immediately to each and every question (and I had many over the 7 months of planning our trip), presented an itinerary which exactly met our needs, provided a price that was much less than other tour groups, and then delivered in a way that far exceeded our expectations. With Ahmed meeting us at the airport, whisking us through security, tracking down our mis-placed baggage, and personally taking us to our hotel we knew we would be in good hands. We did a 4 day/3 night Nile Cruise on the Amwaj Livingstone and had our own Egyptologist - Hassan Amin who made all the difference in the trip. There were plenty of other guides on our boat but it was clear the Hassan was a cut above the rest. He is a brilliant man and knows how to bring the temples to life. We usually had a few other tourists stop to listen in on his stories. He also helped with the notoriously difficult task of navigating the local vendors - letting us know what was good quality, what was a good deal, chose horse and buggy drivers that seemed to care about their animals. We had just a few hours on our return to Cairo to see the pyramids and visit the museum but again, Ahmed worked hard to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed every minute - equipping us with a wonderful driver and another brilliant Egyptologist Manar whose knowledge, enthusiasm, and love of what she does was infectious. If Egypt is on your bucket list - go now! The prices are amazing, the sites are impeccably maintained, security is abundant, the Egyptians are excited to see you there, and people like Ahmed, Hassan, and Manar are just waiting to help create the trip of a lifetime. - [Richard & Priscilla Fereday | England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/richard-priscilla-fereday-england/): Wonderful Trip and excellent service We visited Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. This was arranged for us by GAT Tours. They provided a truly excellent service throughout. In the planning of the trip Mr Ahmed Omar was extremely helpful and efficient as he was in meeting us in Cairo and arranging for transport and guides at the various stages of the trip. The transport was modern and the drivers both safe and reliable. The two guides that we had, Sayyad in Cairo and Hassan in Luxor/Aswan were great, They were both very knowledgeable and also looked after us very well when we were in their hands. If you are planning a trip to Egypt I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending using GAT Tours for your trip. - [Ms. Yessenia Velasco | Ecuador](https://gattours.com/testimonials/ms-yessenia-velasco-ecuador/): The team who will make your dreams come true How to describe the most wonderful experience in a magical country full of kind people ? I will start saying that GAT Tours has the most professional team who planned our trip very carefully. Said is a passionate Egyptologist who shows the love to his land and culture at every moment. He really knows how to transmit his knowledge and how to take care of his group all the time. Definitely an incredible experience that I want to relive ... Thanks Ahmed Omar and Said for being part of my dreams !!! - [Mohamed Ali Beizig | Tunisia](https://gattours.com/testimonials/mohamed-ali-beizig-tunisia/): Title: Best travel agency we ever dealt with, professional and very comfortable, you can never regret choosing GATTours before our trip and by mail, Mr. Omar helped us plan our trip (that was cultural and historical) he booked everything for us (hotel, Nile cruise and internal flights) and for incredible prices :) he was very efficient and fast. - [Aziz Chowdhury | Canada](https://gattours.com/testimonials/aziz-chowdhury-canada/): Our last trip to Egypt by GAT Tours! We have just returned (17-April-2017) from a fabulous trip to Egypt.  GAT tours (Omar Fouad) put a fantastic trip together for me and my wife.  GAT Tours arranged for us an exceptionally good 7 nights - 8 days tour through Egypt (Cairo-Giza-Alexandria-Aswan-Luxor). In the planning of the trip Mr Omar Fouad was extremely helpful and efficient as he was there in Cairo International Airport to welcome us at 5:00 am in the morning and helps us through airport formalities, all the way until the end of our trip right up to departure (2:00 am). He customized this tour package for us, making changes along the way and seeing where all he could upgrade us at all times (like, complimentary hotel accommodation at Le Passage hotel at Cairo Int'l Airport on the day of departure).   Services provided to us by GAT Tours was exceptional and the tour guides (Maanal in Giza, Cairo and Alexandria) and Ahmed Ali (in some of the most significant sites along the Nile from Aswan to Luxor) were professional, punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable. Both guides spoke English very well and provided a wealth of information on the rich history of this ancient civilization. The Nile cruise (Boat - Blue Shadow) from Aswan to Luxor was fantastic with friendly staff, clean rooms and great foods.  I must also mention the name of two gentlemen (Bassam and Imad) who drove us around in Cairo (considering traffic condition on Cairo Street) very comfortably and safely- which is much appreciated. In last few years, we have travelled several countries in Asia and Europe (Australia, China, Malaysia, India, England, France, Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain) used different tour operators -  GAT Tours is undoubtedly one of the best organized tour company, we have come across. GAT Tours provided us with a very personalized and excellent service - they honored all their commitments.   This trip was an unforgettable experience for me and my wife. GAT Tours made our trip to Egypt memorable in every way. We definitely recommend GAT Tours to everyone, thinking to tour Egypt. Many many thanks to Mr. Omar Fouad and his team. What's a wonderful trip it was – WOW. - [Nicky Marsh and Family | Cyprus](https://gattours.com/testimonials/nicky-marsh-and-family-cyprus/): Top Class Service! Ahmed and his team at GAT tours went out of their way to look after my mum and dad on an 8 day trip including Cairo and a Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Their guides were specialists on Egyptian history and were very knowledgeable. My mum had recent surgery on her knee and was not very mobile. They made sure there was assistance for her and were able to park close to the places we visited to make it easy for her. The room at the hotel on the first night in Cairo was not great, but this was fixed without hesitation the following day. If you want a tailor-made tour in Egypt at a reasonable price and with exceptional service I would definitely recommend Ahmed and his team at GAT tours, thank you!!! - [Ann & Glynn Brooks – England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/ann-glynn-brooks-england/): Our trip was Fantastic I found GAT tours while looking for a Cairo stopover tour, Mr Ahmed Omar made everything possible quickly and easily via e-mail and was there to welcome us at 5.30 in the morning. and whisk us through imigration an on to their private tour bus for our trip through Cairo before the city woke up. The trip was fantastic with Ahmed, Sayed Ali, our guide as well as our driver always on time friendly and willing to go out of their way to accommodate us. We have never used a guide before and after this experience will do so in the future as we packed so much into such a short stay, we were in Egypt only 3 days but plan to go back and see more of the country at a bit more leisurely pace. having a trained egyptologist with us for the duration was great as the passion and knowledge of our guide made everything come to life. Sayed is one in a million. We always felt safe and welcome during the trip Ann & Glynn Brooks - England. - [Annie and Mark | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/annie-and-mark-usa/): Basking in the glow! We just returned from Egypt and are still basking in the experience! Thanks to GAT tours, we were treated to some of the most significant sites along the Nile in a professional, organized and safe manner. The guides spoke English well and provided a wealth of information on the rich history of this ancient civilization. We had barely deplaned when we were met by Mr. Ahmed Omar at approximately 2:45 AM. He guided us through customs, security and passport control. We were walked through each hotel check-in, as well as our Nile cruise. Very seamless! Internal flights on Air Egypt were on time – no delays – and luggage arrived safely. All guides and drivers were routinely early. GAT arranged for our Nile river cruise on the steamboat Sudan. This was fabulous and we strongly recommend! The boat was built in 1885 and was peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We paid for a lower deck room, but Mr. Omar arranged for us to be upgraded to the upper deck. Lovely room and the staff on this boat are amazing! The food is a gourmet experience. Perfect! Two more examples of how a GAT guide enhanced our experience: at the Mosque of Ibn Tulun, we found that the access to the minaret was locked. Our guide went to one of the security guards and requested a key to allow us access. We took some lovely pictures of old Cairo from that viewpoint. The second example is when we asked to walk through the old market - Khan al-Khalili. The guide asked a uniformed officer to accompany us through the market presumably to ensure our safety - though at no time did we feel unsafe. Afterwards, the guide asked if we wanted to have something to drink at a nearby café. This was NOT a place for tourists, but did offer us the opportunity to sit with the locals and enjoy a mint lemonade...so charming (and so good)! We toured major sites at Luxor, as well as a variety of temples all along the Nile on the way to Aswan. In at least one case, we visited a temple in the evening when it was lit up. This was enchanting. The only thing I wish had been included was Hatshepsut’s temple on the west bank. This temple was so close to the Valley of the Kings, but was not included in our tour. Bottom line, GAT runs like a well-oiled machine. They take extra measures to ensure a wonderful experience with your comfort and safety in mind. We highly recommend! - [Roy Landres | England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/roy-landres-england/): “We had a lovely time in your country” Dear ahmed, we had a lovely time in your country, and the service you and your company supplied was out standing. I dont think you can help as we will not be back for a short time, but i will past your e-mail address to any one i know going to eygpt. as i have stated we got very good value for money, and the people were only too happy to help out when and where ever they could, so again thank-you. i would recomend your company to any-one,looking for a professional approach to supplying tour's and guide's. i am attaching a photo that we took at the pyramid's ,can you please let our guide "mona" have a copy, as she was excellent. any way thank-you again and i look forward to doing business again with your company.   yours faithfully Roy Landres - [Tony & Helen Cole | England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/tony-helen-cole-england/): We had a great time My wife, Helen and I have just returned from four days in Cairo. We had a lady guide, Manar who was superb, very patient and able to explain eveything to my wife. Please forward our thanks to her  and can you show the attached photograph to our driver who was charming and skilled. He helped to make our holiday so special. Thanks again. Tony & Helen Cole. London - [Anthony Lapham | England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/anthony-lapham-england/): Superb holiday I am writing to thank you for the superb organisation and direction of our recent holiday in Egypt. Your guides, representatives and other staff were superb and all assisted in providing us with a memorable holiday for a reasonable cost. In particular I would like to praise the tour guides. For our Cairo tour Manar was an outstanding, highly qualified professional. She was charming, very intelligent and possessed an extensive knowledge of both ancient and modern Egypt. I would like you to commend and thank her for the excellent manner in which she conducted our tour. Her communication skill was exceptionally good and her command of th English language faultless. In Aswan, Nile cruise and Luxor your guide Markos was equally professionaland again outstanding. Although young he was clearly well qualified, very knowledgable and exuded charm with a friendly easy manner. His knowledge of Egyptology, Egyptian culture and history was extensive and clearly communicated. He had lots of backgound knowledge and offered information on the most recent Egyptology research. Again could you express my gratitude to him for an excellent performance and for being an outstanding tour guide. Our experience with GAT Tours was such that we will always come back to you for future holidays and we will recommend you to friends and colleagues. Many thanks once again - [Alejandra Romero & Family | Mexico](https://gattours.com/testimonials/alejandra-romero-family-mexico/): We had a great time Our family were planning a long trip and we really had a fantastic holiday in Egypt and all the beautiful cities we visited, thank you very much for your professional service and all the travel organization you did for our trips to Egypt and Jordan during the Xmas and New year time followed by our Europe and Russia holiday during the summer time. Take care of yourself and all the best to you and your family. - [Ching Fong & Party | Canada](https://gattours.com/testimonials/ching-fong-party-canada/): Our heartfelt thanks for the excellent service Hello, Ahmed and the whole gang of wonderful people in the GAT Tours, We have meant to drop you a line to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the excellent service we received while we were in Egypt ever since we got back from Bangkok on Oct 19th. However, it took us a while to get over from the jet-leg and then we kind of busy with other daily things in life. Our apology for the late reply! We can easily sum up our whole experience in Egypt in this tour , both in Cairo and Luxor, as fantastic and most memorable. Our stay there was further enhanced by the wonderful reception and service we received from you and the staff in the company. Everything was well arranged; We think that your all were good, proficient and highly professional in your job. The trip was well planned and the itineraries were executed very well, and we all are VERY thankful! There is no doubt that the Egypt trip was THE HIGHLIGHT of our whole cruise experience! We won't hesitate to recommend GAT Tours to any of our friends. In future and you may, if you wish, use our names as reference for your potential customers. Good bye and thank you again! - [Basil and Family | South Africa](https://gattours.com/testimonials/basil-and-family-south-africa/): Highly recommended Mr. Ahmed Omar, Please accept mine and my family’s sincere thank you for an exceptionally well organized vacation. From the very start of the arrangement to completion, even with the tight timelines it was executed without any problems. I am glad that I used your services and would recommend you to anyone looking to have a smooth, worry free vacation in Egypt. So once again, Happy New Year and thank you for your assistance.   Kind Regards, Basil - [Yoliandri & Family | Indonesia](https://gattours.com/testimonials/yoliandri-family-indonesia/): “ Highly recommended” Mr. Ahmed,I just want to say thanks for organizing trip for my family. Overall I would say that we're really ejoying our vacation trip to enjoy, and specially the kids were enjoying the Nile cruise. The only thing that can be improve is the transportation from Aswan to Abu Simbel, the car is good but just need a "head rest" in each chair which will make the passenger more comfort to sleep/rest for the long journey. I have recommended about your tour to some of my friend in the company (bp) that are planning to go there in March, I believe they will contact you soon for same request.   Thanks a lot Best regards Yoli - [Sabino Alvino & Group | Italy](https://gattours.com/testimonials/sabino-alvino-group-italy/): Thanks for the wonderful organization Dear Ahmed, my friend, You were my "alter ego" during our visit in Egypt . I thank you for all and for the wonderful organization during our group conference in Egypt – Alexandria, everything was so professional and all your team efforts much appreciated, we hope to go back to Egypt and use your services. I'm in Rome now where I live with my wife, even if because of my job  I do up and down, every week, between Puglia (Bari) and Rome. It would be a pleasure to meet You again...hopefully on a sunny beach drinking fresh juice , etc.... Take care you too and write me . ciao Sabino - [Luciano and Gabriela | Argentina](https://gattours.com/testimonials/luciano-and-gabriela-argentina/): Extremely happy with your services Ahmed,Good afternoon from Buenos Aires, unfortunately we are back home into our normal lives again... It was excellent. Everything was perfect including the trip back to Istanbul and the small stay in Istanbul (very nice and excellent bazaars for shopping). My friends are still thinking about the option to travel to Cairo at the end of the year. They already have your contacts in case that continues with their plans. - [Indranil, Amrita and Disha | India](https://gattours.com/testimonials/indranil-amrita-and-disha-india/): Amazing hospitality We are back to India. We will memorize the Cairo trip for ever. The hospitality we received from you and Mohammed was amazing. We never got it from anywhere else while staying in Egypt. You guys are amazing, the help you provided to us was great and we never feel like traveling to other country. Please keep informed Mohammed about that. And the best part was Disha (our 6 years old daughter) was missing you too. I have no proper word to explain you guys....... Keep in touch and please visit India, and we will host you guys. Just come to India rest we will take care.....looking forward to meet you soon.   Best regards Indranil, Amrita and Disha. - [Yexenia Gomez & Party | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/yexenia-gomez-party-usa/): We had a great experience Thank you for your email. I had a wonderful time in Egypt. Your company took very good care of us and we never felt alone. We always had someone there to take care of us and answer our questions. Your rep. Fayez was extremely helpful and very good with our group. Also, your guides in Cairo and Alexandria, Ameni and Ehma (I might be spelling their names wrong) were wonderful! The itinerary that you put together for us really covered a lot of ground and we had a great experience. - [Christina and Family | Brazil](https://gattours.com/testimonials/christina-and-family-brazil/): “ Highly recommended your travel agency” The trip back was fine, just tiring. We really enjoyed Egypt and would like to go back sometime. I'm recomending your company to a friend of mine who has a group of people from Clara's school that get together to discuss trips made by others so that whenever anyone would like to go to a certain country they would know where to go and with what company, and she is planning on doing a discussion on Egypt soon. We too consider you as a friend and would surely contact you when we go back to Egypt, which we'd all love to do soon. We already miss Ahmed's jokes and "news" stories. - [Prof. Ali Reza Shekhoeleslami | England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/prof-ali-reza-shekhoeleslami-england/): Excellent tour in Egypt Many thanks for organising an excellent tour for us. (I shall send you a separate thank-you note on my University email account, in case you decide to keep it for your files.) Most primarily, I would like to thank you for your enormously helpful, gentle, an charming staff. Everyone of of the guides and drivers was a credit to mankind. (Womankind, also. Please tell Emi that I, as Shaikh al-Islam, must send her a "chador" from Iran!) However, there is no surprise there: They were Egyptians and could not be anything but noble. (Perhaps some Egyptians that we hear about are NOT Egyptians.) Four Seasons Hotel, and again its staff, were just as what they can proudly claim. Al-Mudirah in Luxur must be listed as a place of interest to see along with other sites in Luxur. As I have been thinking about it, I have a growing admiration for the place: Unusual, sophisticated, with so many objects to look at carefully in one's own room. The walk in the garden; the courtyard where we ate; the buildings that I walked by. All memories now. Al-Jounah is a lovely resort. However, it is not for me. It suits a Western family with children, raised with the idea of a compulsory holiday and manufactured happiness. The only restaurant that was open was an ALL-you-can-eat food bazaar---and distastefully, people ate even more than a "khenzir" could. Al-Jounah was my mistake. I had mistakenly assumed that Al-Jounah was more secluded and quiet than Dhahab. Thank you for arranging the car trip back to Cairo. I wanted to feel the land of Egypt. I am grateful to you, Sir. The most painful part of my trip was to leave Egypt and say goodbye to my friend Tawfiq. Truly, Sayyid Tawfiqina min Allah, aydhan. May you all be healthy and see a happier Egypt. Best wishes always, Reza Sheikholeslami - [Donna and PJ Carter & party | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/donna-and-pj-carter-party-usa/): We loved our travel experience with GAT Tours We are safely back home and have recovered from the long plane trip. I wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the tour and your roles in arranging it for us. As a tour company, there is pride in delivering excellent individual service. Unquestionably, this was carried forth by every level of your troupe. We had personal service every step of the way. The collaboration was first class. You and your team provided everything that was promised and more. I will have no hesitation in recommending GAT Tours to others and will call upon your services again for our next trip to Egypt. - [Michael and Kelli | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/michael-and-kelli-usa/): We have very pleasant memories f our trip I want to let you know how grateful we are for the excellent service we received from you and everyone else at GAT Tours. Our recent trip to Egypt was wonderful, and a large part of the reason was because we didn't have to worry about any of the details. We could just enjoy the scenery and relax! - [Stephanie Downes & Party | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/stephanie-downes-party-usa/): GAT Tours:  Top-Notch, Personalized trip through Egypt Ahmed Omar and GAT Tours made our trip to Egypt absolutely wonderful! I've travelled around the world (45 countries and counting!) and generally avoid using any agencies to plan my travels. But for Egypt I knew we would need some help, and I was right. You should not try to "wing it" on your own. My friends and I wanted a very personalized and customized itinerary and Ahmed helped us plan every detail exactly as we desired. We were met at the airport and from start to finish had top of the line drivers and guides in each city we visited. We always felt safe and well taken care of. We have wonderful memories of our trip to Egypt we will treasure forever, and in great part this is because of the exceptional service by Ahmed and his team at GAT Tours! - [Anne Mead | Australia](https://gattours.com/testimonials/anne-mead-australia/): Wonderful holiday I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the excellent service your company provided, from assistance with border crossings, transfers, guides and company representatives. All services were excellent. - [Arun & Sheela | USA & Malaysia](https://gattours.com/testimonials/arun-sheela-usa-malaysia/): GAT Tours provided the best service.! My wife and sister-in-laws family we just finished our Egypt tour arranged by GAT tours. This included private guided tours of all attractions in Cairo, and then Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan with stops at all temples. From the moment of meet and great at the airport to departure time GAT tours, provided the best service. - [Melanie Votaw | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/melanie-votaw-usa/): Great experience Ahmed of GAT Tours was very professional in handling my customized arrangements before my trip and took care of everything for me once I arrived in Cairo. He even met me at the airport upon my return to Cairo from Aswan and drove me to the other terminal for my flight to Jordan. GAT booked tours for me in Cairo, a beautiful Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, and tours in Aswan. They booked my hotels and even got a slight price break for me on internal flights. Everything went without a hitch after I arrived, and there was great attention to detail. Highly recommended for visits to Egypt and elsewhere. - [Angela Schneider | Canada](https://gattours.com/testimonials/angela-schneider-canada/): Highly recommend your tour company I contacted GAT tours thanks to the good reviews on TripAdvisor and have to concur that the praise is well deserved. Operations Manager, Ahmed Omar got back to me immediately and put together a tour that included everything I wanted to see at a good price. Everything is taken care of from the moment one arrives until you leave and I have to give special kudos to Samy Zoheiry, who was the actual day to day tour manager ( I never met Ahmed). - [Mauricio Accorsi | Brazil](https://gattours.com/testimonials/mauricio-accorsi-brazil/): Amazing experience No words to describe how satisfied and happy I am with GAT Tours Egypt concerning my experience recently in Cairo. Beginning with a quick answer and detailed information online that I kindly received form Mr. Ahmed Omar, until the attention at the airport and transfer to the nice hotel, passing through the great tour guide - [Padamaja Chennupati & Group | India](https://gattours.com/testimonials/padamaja-chennupati-group-india/): We had unforgettable trip to Egypt Our journey back to India has been filled wonderful images of the beautiful country of Egypt and we are very thankful to GAT Tours for organizing such a wonderful and unforgettable trip. The tour had so much to offer that it keeps calling us back and we have recommended you to a lot of people and also enlightened them about how fun touring Egypt can be. Regards, Padmaja Chennupati - [Kihun Kwak and Family | South Korea](https://gattours.com/testimonials/kihun-kwak-and-family-south-korea/): Fantastic trip First of all, Our family trip in Egypt was fantastic. Everything is beyond our imagination and I would like to thank you to our all assistants, Ghamel, Essam, Private Guide and Driver. Especially we really appreciate for Ghamel's hospitality and kindness to our family. Would you say hello to all of them? I was also impressed to your well organized trip schedules in our trip. I will recommend your company to my relatives and friends interested in your country as well. I would love to trip your country again ASAP I also hope to see you soon.   Best regards to you and your company. - [Oscar and Carolina | Chile](https://gattours.com/testimonials/oscar-and-carolina-chile/): Amazing trip from the first moment My wife and I went to Egypt and knowing that sometimes can be dificult moving around and exploring so, fortunately we put ourselves in the hands of GAT Tours and can I say the staff (Guides, Representatives and Drivers) did EVERYTHING to make us feel comfortable. We had Mr. Ahmed Omar waiting for us in the luggage belt when we got there and when we leave egypt he stay with us until border control, so I mean it when I say "they will take care of you from minute 1". Our experience was outstanding, we visit all the iconic places and cities and assisted all the time with the Guides who gave us a very comprehensive background history of each site that we were and also we enjoy our free time when we requested. When we get back to Egypt (because is not an if) certainly we will contact GAT Tours again. - [Julia Musso | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/julia-musso-usa/): Amazing Stop Over A friend of mine and I took a day trip to Cairo and went on a day tour with GAT to the pyramids, sphynx, and Egypt museum and the trip was phenomenal! We were taken care of from the moment we stepped off the plane in the morning until we returned to the airport later that evening. We were assisted through - [Jamie Winn | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/jamie-winn-usa/): A wonderful trip because of GAT Tours I have only the highest praise for GAT Tours Egypt. I was nervous about taking the tour of Egypt at this time because of what I've heard on the news, but I am so glad I did. Egypt felt safe and secure to me and the people at GAT were there with me every step of the way. Not only did my agent, Ahmed Omar, meet me at the airport, but he went out of his way to find me an electrical outlet converter and was at the airport with me when I left for Luxor, when I returned from Aswan, and he drove me to the airport at midnight when I left to return to the states. I've never had that kind of personal service before. It was amazing. In addition, I can only rave about my two tour guides, who were both Egyptian experts. Manor in Cairo and Mohamed on the Nile Tour were both fabulous, knowledgeable people, who gave me incredible insight into both the ancient and modern culture of Egypt. They were both a joy to work with. My trip would have been far less rich and rewarding without them. All I can say is Go to Egypt now, and if you do, I highly recommend GAT Tours. They will make it what it should be, a once in a lifetime type experience. - [Vicky Thomas | England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/vicky-thomas-england/): Wonderful adventure in Egypt Ahmed, Just a quick note to say thank you so much for organising such a wonderful adventure for us From the moment we touched down at Cairo, to when you took us back through customs on our return flight, we were in great hands at every location Our journey was fascinating: Day 1 - Arrive Cairo 01:00 Pyramids at Giza am - journey to the inner chamber, followed by being let loose on a couple of healthy looking horses to gallop across the desert.  As competitive horse riders, this was an unexpected treat, as being entrusted with fast horses is not always allowed Egyptian Museum pm - so much to see, we only touched the surface here, but enough for us on Day 1! Sleeper train - very appreciative of GAT Tours booking us on the train with sleeping compartments.  The Bar carriage was a step back to the 70's - definitely worth visiting (even for just five minutes) Day 2 - 5 - JUST AMAZING Temples / Tombs - truly unbelievable sights, history that is hard to process - arriving at each location and the first glimpse of each enormous creation felt like we were in our own little adventure.  We truly felt enormously lucky to have the chance to see first hand such an amazing pieces of history We added a ride on donkeys to see the 'Valley of the Kings' and 'Temple of Hatshepsut' from the mountain top - this was unforgettable, and the best place to get true perspective on the area Mojito Nile Cruise Ship - very happy and friendly staff.  Sitting on deck in the late afternoon, watching Egypt pass by as the sun set - priceless Days 6 - 16 - El Gouna Sheraton Miramar - great service, dining, and hotel complex My highlights: - well equipped gym - 2k running track - varied and extensive buffet meals - comfortable beds - Tuk Tuk service around El Gouna Many thanks to all the GAT Tours staff that made our trip, one to remember.  Special thanks to Ahmed, Amira and Emad - guys we thoroughly enjoyed your company and will certainly recommend your services to all our friends interested in visiting your incredible country Hope to see you again on future trips Regards Vicky - [Venkatesh Mudumbai & Family | India](https://gattours.com/testimonials/venkatesh-mudumbai-family-india/): “ Excellent trip” I would like to thank you and  GAT tours for the excellent arrangements during our trip. Everything was well planned and on time and all guides were well informative and provided us in depth information about all the places we had visited. My family members join me in conveying their deep appreciation to your team for everything and I will definitely recommend your GAT tours to my friends/relatives whenever they plan to visit Egypt in future. Good luck and keep it up. Best regards Venkatesh - [D Williams | Australia](https://gattours.com/testimonials/d-williams-australia/): “ Thanks for Professional and Personalized service” I travelled to Egypt with my friend Anna in September and would like to express my thanks to Gat Tours staff for all their efforts in ensuring that our trip was a wonderful experience.   Manar, our guide for tours of Gizza and Alexandria, was not only a very knowledgeable Egyptologist but also a charming and warm person and it did not take long for us to feel that we had known her for a long time.  Her passion for her subject was obvious and one quickly became engrossed in the Egypt of the past as she introduced us to the wonders of each place we visited. Mahmud, our driver with a great smile, kept us feeling safe as he expertly manouvered through the traffic in the congested streets of Cairo and Alexandria.   Ahmad, our guide who accompanied us to Abu Simbel and on the Nile cruise was a perfect choice.  He kept us entertained with his interesting and knowledgeable commentary on our tours and also the through chats we had about life in general during the time we spent together.  We enjoyed his company very much.   The staff also ensured that we were aware of how to deal with tipping, unwanted salesmen and a multitude of other little situations in a culturally appropriate manner which was much appreciated by us as first time visitors to Egypt.   Last, but certainly not least, Mohamed Gomaa, our lovely tour operator/leader, who organised all aspects of our travel.  Mohamed was helpful and professional from the first time I made contact with Gat Tours, listening to our needs and making helpful suggestions regarding tours, flights, accommodation etc.  The end result was a holiday that met our expectations and much more.  Importantly, the cost represented great value for money.  Mohamed was the first person that we met on arrival in Egypt as he waited at the airport to introduce himself and accompany us to our first hotel.  He was also the last we saw as he waited until we were safely dispatched on our flight home.   Mohamed ensured that every aspect of our trip ran on time and without incident and acted as our guide for a trip to Khan ElKhalily which we enjoyed very much.   His efforts in every area were very much appreciated as we found ourselves being looked after like royalty, staying in luxurious accommodation, eating delicious food and living our dream, be it ever so briefly. We have returned home with wonderful memories of the places stayed and visited and the marvelous attractions that we saw, but it was the kindness and attention of Gat Tours staff that we met and quickly got to regard as friends that made our trip truly memorable.    I would not hesitate to recommend Gat Tours to anyone considering a holiday in Egypt.  I know they will not be disappointed as the service is professional and personalised and goes above and beyond anything I have experienced before. Thank you again. Kind regards Di Williams - [Alan Rooney and Group | England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/alan-rooney-and-group-england/): “ Thanks for successful tour organization” Ahmed, I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you very much indeed for all your hard work in preparing for last week’s tour. Mick has told me that everything was ‘spot-on’, which is praise indeed. So thanks very much to you and to Sayed. You are both much appreciated. As and when I get any client feedback I will let you have it.   Many thanks   Sincerely, Alan Rooney - [Ronel Galves | Phillipine](https://gattours.com/testimonials/ronel-galves-phillipine/): “ Memorable and Fun” I would just like to inform you that we had a great time in Cairo.  Your representative and driver was very helpful, very friendly and kind.  The tour guide Aimee was very friendly as well, knowledgeable of the historical background of each place and was very accommodating of our requests.   Other than these, the trip was memorable and fun.  I will come back to visit the other places and I hope you to do it with your agency again.   Best regards to all of your staff.   Ronel Galves - [Faye Chen & Party | Canada](https://gattours.com/testimonials/faye-chen-party-canada/): We had a great time in Egypt We have definitely been telling our friends and family of the great time we had in Egypt, and are even trying to convince Eugene's parents to go next year! But we'll let you know if we are successful in convincing them! Thank you for the photos! Eugene and I just finished making a photo album of all our photos (took 2 weeks!!), and we used the wonderful photos that you sent us!   I was just wondering whether you would like some of the photos we took of our time in Cairo? I'm sure you get plenty - but if you want some more, just let us know!   Oh! It's snowing today in Vancouver!! LOTS. It`s very wet and cold here now! Schools got cancelled for the day, buses are not running, car accidents on the highways...we`re not very good in snowy weather.  Miss the warm weather!   All my best, Faye - [Vincent Fallon | England](https://gattours.com/testimonials/vincent-fallon-england/): Now Eileen and I are home and back to our daily routine of working, I wanted to drop you a message of thanks for all the hard work and effort by you and your colleagues which served to ensure that our holiday was trouble free and most enjoyable.   As you know we have been in Egypt many, many times, but the personal nature of our travel itinerary on this trip resulted in the most wonderful and memorable experience for us both.   Special thanks are due for the selection of the Swiss Inn Radamis I for the Nile Cruise part of our holiday. Our room was upgraded to a suite as we boarded and the excellent birthday celebrations came as a complete surprise to Eileen.   I hope to be able to use your company’s services again in the future, Insha’Allah.   Many thanks again and best regards Vincent Fallon - [Ron & Adele Hans | USA](https://gattours.com/testimonials/ron-adele-hans-usa/): “A unique experience & enjoyable trip” Ahmed, We wanted to thank you so much for arranging the wonderful experience we had during our visit to Egypt. The Best of Egypt package was perfect for our first visit to this land of contrasts between ancient and modern civilization. The accommodations, guides, transportation and all the little things were all first class and greatly added to our experience. The added personal touch of having you or one of the GAT representatives in each city greet us at the airports and settle us in the hotels was very helpful. Despite much international travel, our first arrival in a new country provokes some anxiety as to what we will find as we leave the plane. The personal touch completely eliminated this anxiety. We also appreciated the late model vans and the safety awareness of the drivers as traffic patterns are very different from the USA and Europe. All of our other international travel had been on our own and this was our first experience as part of a tour. We were not exactly sure what to expect but this is certainly the way to experience the diversity of Egypt. On our arrival in Cairo we were delighted to have a view of the Pyramids at both Giza and Saqqara from our hotel room balcony. The visit to these pyramids and Sphinx the next day was simply fantastic. Having our own personal guide for our group of four certainly added to our experience. The knowledge of all the guides was very high and they were sensitive to our needs and wishes for any adjustments to the normal schedule. After our experience in Cairo we thought that would be easily the high point of the trip. However we think the Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor parallels the Cairo experience. Not only was the cruise itself relaxing and enjoyable but the tours of a number of temples as well as the Valley of the Queens and Valley of the Kings along the way was an experience not to be missed. Having history come alive in this way was very enjoyable and neither of us had been history buffs before. The break to visit Hurghada and experience the Red Sea was a very relaxing time. We felt very pampered at the magnificent resort where service, food and amenities were top notch. We experienced a ride to 25 meters under the Red Sea in a submarine to view the coral and fish population. A unique experience. The ten day trip was a great way to gain an overview of Egyptian history and culture but we now have an appetite for a more in-depth visit to some of the sites. Of particular interest are the Museum of Antiquities and the Library in Alexandria. The short visit to Port Said showed us that we would like to spend some time on a Mediterranean beach. We felt very welcomed by all we met and are pleased to now have a number of new Egyptian friends, beginning with you. Our sincere thanks to you for all the effort you put into making our trip enjoyable. We will definitely recommend a trip to Egypt through GAT Tours to all of our friends. - [Chantal and Heather | Canada](https://gattours.com/testimonials/chantal-and-heather-canada/): “ I loved every minute in Egypt” Thank you so much for your kind email Heather was nice enough to forward it to me.  I just want to let you know again how much I enjoyed this trip. I have been looking forward to visiting Egypt for many years and was so excited to be able to finally have a chance to get there. I was worried I would be disappointed because I expected so much but I want you to know that you exceeded my expectations I loved every minute of it. All throughout the planning you have answered us quickly and adapted our trip to meet our changing plans and I thank you for that. Please extend also our thanks to Mohamad Tawfik. When I first met him at the Cairo airport I immediately felt relaxed and safe even while driving thru Cairo traffic!! Haha The guides as well were amazing. We could not have asked for better guides. Sayed in Cairo and Hassan in aswan-luxor were wonderful.  Both incredibly knowledgeable about all the sites and the history of Egypt. The only problem we found was we wanted to thank so many people and there just wasn't enough space on the comment card. Hahaha Heather and I will definitely put up a post on trip advisor recommending your company and as I work in the tourist industry as well I will mention GAT to as many people as I can. I just got home and already I have a new list of places in Egypt that I want to return and visit!! Again thank you very much for your time and for making this trip such an amazing experience.  I look forward to one day working with you again on a new trip!! And if you or anyone ever comes to Vancouver please let Heather or I know and we would be happy to see you and show you around. Sincerely Chantal ## Tours - [Cairo, Aswan to Luxor Nile Cruise & Red Sea](https://gattours.com/egypt/nile-cruise/luxor-and-aswan/cairo-aswan-to-luxor-nile-cruise-red-sea-2/): Embark on an extraordinary 11-day journey through the timeless wonders of Egypt, blending ancient history, cultural discovery, and Red Sea relaxation.
