Mexico City - Arrival

Arrival at International Airport Benito Juarez in Mexico City, capital of Mexico, one of the largest and most populated cities in the world, with a long history of almost 700 years, which is reflected in many of the last buildings of its pre-Hispanic and colonial times, coupled with the most modern expressions architecture and contemporary art. Initially based in a lake, now it shows us the greatness of the first civilizations, the colonial splendor of the stage, and the development and progress achieved in recent times, which makes it a truly unique city. Mexico City

In the morning, tour by Paseo de la Reforma until the Historic City Center, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, where you can admire the buildings and memorials: the Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace, Plaza of the Constitution, Palace of Fine Arts, etc.. Later we will go to the pyramids of Teotihuacan, also known as the City of the Gods, it is the touristic place with the largest number of visitors in all Mexico. Visit the main buildings: the Pyramid the Sun, the Calzada de los Muertos, the Citadel, and so on. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to Mexico City and transfer to your hotel. Mexico City - Puebla - Oaxaca

In the morning departure to the city of Puebla, also known as Puebla de los Angeles, because, according to tradition, its creation was due to the will of the angels. Declared by UNESCO as World Heritage Site, is one of the cultural cities of the country, in which we find traces pre-Hispanic cultures, great architectural works of the colonial period, samples from a variety of handicraft, and a highly renowned cuisine. Among the major attractions that we visit it is the Church – Santa Maria Tonantzintla, one of the richest jewels of Mexican baroque, the Capilla del Rosario near the Temple Santo Domingo, the Plaza Mayor or main square, the famous Parian market, etc. Lunch at restaurant in the area. Early in the afternoon continue to the city of Oaxaca, whose historic center was also declared by UNESCO as World Heritage, a true reflection of a rich cultural history that has endured through time. Oaxaca - Mitla - Tehuantepec

Visit the archaeological site of Monte Alban, considered by UNESCO as Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is one of the most important remains of the Zapotec culture, renowned for its beautiful architecture, stone carvings, its hundreds of tombs among, etc. Visit Central Square, the Great Ball Court, the Square Dancers, etc. After the tour, return to Oaxaca City to explore the heart of this beautiful colonial city, whose origins date from the sixteenth century, and were we admire their convents, baroque temples, civil buildings of the colonial era, its cobbled streets, their markets, and more. Among the highlights include the Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzman, the Cathedral, the Templo de la Soledad, the Plaza de Santo Domingo, etc… Free time for lunch. Tehuentepec - Sump Canyon - San Cristobal de las Casas

Departure to Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas state capital. On the way, you’ll enjoy beautiful landscapes to reach the famous Sumidero Canyon, a geological fault that opened 12 million years ago, and one of Mexico´s most spectacular sites, thanks to its walls of almost 1.000 meters above the Grijalva river, a beautiful natural wonder of Mexico that you’ll also have the chance to admire. Later, you’ll move to the city of Chiapa de Corzo, built in one of the oldest archaeological sites of the Mayan World and admired by its Mudejar style fountain, where you’ll have a delicious lunch. You will continue to San Cristobal de las Casas, denominated “Magical village” by Mexico´s Secretary of Tourism, and considered one of the first cities built in the Spanish America, retaining its squares, cobblestone streets, tile red roofs and its traditional markets; Its urban composition makes it, one of the most beautiful colonial cities of Mexico. San Cristobal de las Casas

Visit of the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula and Zincantán, in that, its inhabitants have been preserved, even with the passage of time, ancestral customs and way of life, mixture of religious and pagan, colorfully and mysticism, and where Christian traditions are combined with Hispanic roots. Undoubtedly their markets, the churches of San Juan Bautista and San Lorenzo, you will feel differently! Afternoon at leisure to explore at your own the highlights of San Cristobal, the Cathedral, the Palace of Government, the Temple of Charity, its streets and markets, and taste its delicious cuisine. San Cristobal de las Casas - Agua Azul - Palenque

Early morning, departure to the Agua Azul Cascades, one of the most beautiful places in Mexico, with its shades of turquoise waters, surrounded by lush vegetation and rich gift of nature, and in which will be able to take a refreshing swim. Later we stop at Misol-Ha, natural fall water about 30 meters high, located in a very nice place in the Chiapas highlands. Finally continue to Palenque, discovered in the eighteenth century, and situated in the middle of the jungle, is one of the most impressive sites of the Mayan world, by its architectural beauty and aesthetic importance, reaching its zenith during the reign of Pakal the Great. Palenque - Campeche

Today you will visit the archaeological site of Palenque, important for its large construction of the classical period, and considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, being undoubtedly one of the largest and best known of the Mayan World. Visiting the Palace, the Temple of the Registration (which is the tomb of King Pakal), Building X, the Temple of the Sun, and more. After this tour, we will continue to Campeche, one of the most beautiful colonial cities of Mexico. (Meals: breakfast and lunch)

Campeche - Uxmal - Merida

At morning, we will make the tour of this beautiful walled city, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We admire its forts and baluarts, such as the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and more. After the visit continue to Uxmal, one of the most important Mayan sites on the Puuc road , considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and in which we can admire its most representative buildings , as the Pyramid of the Magician, the Nunnery Quadrangle, the Governor’s Palace and others. Lunch at local restaurant. Early in the afternoon continue to Merida, another beautiful colonial city that still retains the splendor of the past, and which will make a tour of its highlights: Monument the flag, the Paseo de Montejo with its beautiful houses and mansions in the French style, the Cathedral, the Palace of Government, etc. (Meals: breakfast and lunch)

Merida - Chichen Itza - Cancun - Riviera Maya

At morning we will drive to Chichen Itza, undoubtedly one of the most important archaeological Mayan World sites of Mexico, considered by UNESCO as World Heritage, recently named one of the new Wonders of the World. Will visit the main buildings: the Pyramid of Kukulkan “Feathered Serpent” or Castle admiring the architectural perfection; the Ball Game court, the largest Mesoamerica, the Temple of the Warriors, the Temple of the 1,000 columns, the Sacred Cenote or the Sacrifices, the Observatory or Caracol, incredible precision astronomical, and more. Lunch at local restaurant. Early in the afternoon, transfer to Cancun or the Riviera Maya. End of services.
