Egypt had created a special passport for the Mummy of king Tut, so it can travel around the world and give everybody the chance to witness the beauty of King Tut’s treasures.
The Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities of Egypt had prepared a special travelling exhibition called “Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh” to tour the world for two-year from Paris, London and Los Angeles to present it for hordes of awestruck visitors.

The Exhibition of King Tut’s treasures was one of a kind, it included more than 166 impressive artifacts from the treasure that was discovered in the tomb of king Tut.
The tomb of king Tut was discovered at the Valley of the Kings site in 1922 by the famous archaeologist Howard Carter.
This exhibition contained a small portion of King Tut treasures, a small teaser for the whole world to come and get the full magical experience in Egypt, The full discovered treasure will be found in the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) which is considered the largest museum in the world, it’s expected to officially open for public by the end of 2023.
The tour went from California Science Center, then to Paris’s prestigious Grand Hall de la Villette and ended the tour at London then return to Egypt after two or three days maximum.
The first stage of king Tut exhibition was in California Science Center on March 23, 2018. This date was a coincided with the 100th anniversary of King Tutankhamun’s tomb discovery in 1922.
This event in California with the 150-artifact collection was considered the biggest group of artifacts that shown outside of Egypt and recorded the largest human gathering event in California.
Once the exhibition ended in California, the collection headed to Paris, France.
The second stage for the “King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh” exhibition, was at the grand Lafayette Hall in Paris, France which held for 6 months from March 18, 2019, to Sept. 30, 2019.
This great exhibition of King Tutankhamun treasure broke the records of people turnout for any French cultural exhibitions, this was reported by the French and international news
This exhibition in Paris ended in Sept. 22 and recorded 1,423,170 visitors in the past six months.
Very important note that: the previous record for the most visitors of cultural exhibition in Paris was also happened by the same exhibition which was displayed in 1967. The presence of king Tutankhamun always breaks records through the years.
After the big bang happened in Paris because of the “Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh” exhibition, the tour continues to visit London.
The final stage for king Tut exhibition was at the British capital, London, which happened on November 1, and will return to Egypt after only two or three days.
The exhibition was rich in a hung collection of fascinating artifacts, belongs to King Tut like canopic and alabaster pots, number of gilt ushabti statues, and King Tut’s famous death mask.
These details were very interesting for the people of London, who enjoyed discovering more about them in these 3 days.
