Mövenpick MS Sun Ray Cruise features 66 spacious and elegantly designed cabins. All cabins are air-conditioned and have two double beds or one king bed. The cabins are equipped with a private bathroom with a bathtub, hairdryer, mini fridge, safety deposit box, internal phone, 2 life jackets, and satellite LCD TV.

Enjoy with gourmet varieties and sumptuous buffet items for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant. After a long and exciting day of sightseeing, the bar is a great place to enjoy some refreshment. Or, you can modify the sun deck of the steamboat to witness the spectacular effect of the Nile at the same time as you treat yourself to a variety of drinks and snacks.

04 Days / 03 Nights Program

Morning time, you will be met with GAT Tours’ Representative, who will transfer you by private A-C vehicle to your Nile cruiser. After that, you will visit the High Dam, which was constructed by the president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to store the water of the Nile. We will then ride in a motorboat to visit Temple of Philae, constructed during the Greco Roman times. Our last visit of the day will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. We will then return to our boat for overnight. [Lunch & Dinner]

Energizing breakfast on the cruise. Our Nile Cruise ship will land at the location of the city of Kom Ombo, where we will visit Temple of Sobek & Haroeris, which was established in the Ptolemaic period and completed in the Roman era and was dedicated to two gods, the local crocodile, Sobek and the famous eagle god, Haroeris. After that, we will get back to our boat for rest. Later on, we will visit Temple of Horus in Edfu, the finest preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the land of the Nile. We will then get back to our boat for overnight. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Morning time is free at leisure or (optional) you can enjoy a Hot-air Balloon over the West Bank of Luxor. Enjoy your delicious breakfast before exploring the city of the dead where we can visit Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. This was the burial site of the kings from the New Kingdom. The next visit of the day will be to the Temple of Deir El Bahari, constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt. Our last visit will be to the Colossi of Memnon; these two huge statues are the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC and became a landmark of Luxor afterwards. After that, we will get back to our boat for overnight. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Check out after breakfast. Later on, we will move to explore the east bank of Luxor including two marvelous temple complexes. Our first visit of the day will be to the Karnak Temples Complex, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. We will then visit Luxor Temple, another startling temple which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs. After the tour, we will transfer you to your location in Luxor. [Breakfast]

05 Days / 04 Nights Program

Morning time, you’ll be met by GAT Tours’ Representative, who will transfer you by private Air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise boat. After lunch, you’ll join our expert tour guide to visit Temple of Karnak, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years. We will then visit Luxor Temple, which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and others kings. After the tour, you’ll be transferred to your Nile Cruise. [Lunch & Dinner]

Our Nile Cruise ship will land at the location of the city of Edfu, where we will visit the Temple of Horus, constructed by the Ptolemies in the 3rd century BC for the worship of the god Horus, the avenger of his father. After this marvelous visit, we will get back to our Nile Cruiser for lunch, rest and refresh. We will then proceed to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, established in the Ptolemaic period and completed in the Roman era Finally, you will be transferred back to your Nile cruise ship for rest and refresh. Evening time, Egyptian folklore show will be operated by the staff. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Breakfast meal will be served on board. After that you will prepare yourself to join your expert tour guide to explore the wonderful city of Aswan. Our first visit of the day will be to the High Dam, which was constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to store the water, then generate a large volume of the electricity. We will then ride in a motorboat to visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman era as the cult center of the goddess Isis. Our last visit will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. After the day tour, we will drive back to our Nile cruiser, so we can enjoy the tasty lunch. Evening time, Nubian show, Dinner and overnight on board. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]
