Sonesta Moon Goddess Nile Cruise Ship offers 49 luxurious cabins with sliding glass doors opening to private balconies and four presidential suites with private lounge. All accommodations feature their own private balcony. All cabins and suites on Sonesta Moon Goddess are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed only in open areas. Breakfast and lunch buffets as well as à la carte dinners are served daily on Sonesta Moon Goddess Nile Cruise ship. À la carte lunch will be served instead of buffet when the number of guests on board is less than 20 persons. The Lounge Serving light meals for lunch and dinner plus a wide range of cocktails and beverages. The Sun Deck Bar on Moon Goddess overlooking the Nile, offering refreshing cocktails all day until sunset.

04 Days / 03 Nights Program(Each Saturday from Luxor)

Pick up from your location in Luxor, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you by private vehicle to your Nile cruiser for check in. Afternoon, you will visit Karnak Temples Complex, the largest Pharaonic temple complex in the world. The Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II. Our next visit of today will be to Temple of Luxor, another startling temple which was established around the 14th century BC. After the tour, we will return to our Ship for rest and refresh. Afternoon tea will be served on board. Dinner meal will be served on board, then overnight in Luxor. [Lunch & Dinner

Breakfast meal will be served on board. After that, you will join our expert tour guide to explore the west bank of Luxor, the city of the dead. Our first visit will be to Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. We will then visit Temple of Deir El Bahari, which was constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt. Finally, we will visit The Colossi of Memnon, these two huge statues are the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC. After the tour, we will return to our Ship for rest and refresh. Afternoon tea will be served on board. Dinner meal will be served on board, then overnight in Luxor. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Energizing breakfast meal will be served on board before our full day tour. Our Nile Cruise ship will land at the location of the Temple of Horus in Edfu, the finest preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the land of the Nile. It was constructed by the Ptolemies in the 3rd century BC for the worship of the god Horus. After your amazing visit, you will get back to the ship, so we can enjoy the lunch on board while sailing to the city of Kom Ombo. Arrange yourself for the second visit of the day, whereas we will meet Temple of Kom Ombo, established in the Ptolemaic period and completed in the Roman era, the temple is dedicated to the local crocodile, Sobek and the famous eagle god, Haroeris. Evening time is free at leisure to enjoy the Egyptian folklore show on board. [Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner]

Check out after breakfast, after that you will prepare yourself to join your expert tour guide to explore the wonderful city of Aswan. Our first visit of the day will be to The High Dam, constructed in the 1960s by the former Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to protect Egypt from the flood of the Nile. We will then ride in a motorboat to reach Agilika Island, where we can visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman era as the center of the worship of the goddess Isis. We will then proceed to visit The Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. Transfer to your final location in Aswan. [Breakfast]

05 Days / 04 Nights Program (Each Tuesday from Aswan)

Pick up from your location in Aswan, transfer to your Nile Cruise by A/C private Vehicle, Lunch on board and check in, after lunch Sail on the Nile by Felucca around Kitchener’s Island & Agha Khan, Dinner and overnight on board. [Lunch & Dinner]

Morning time, you will be met with GAT Tours’ Representative, who will transfer you by private A-C vehicle to your Nile cruiser. After that, you will visit the High Dam, which was constructed by the president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to store the water of the Nile. We will then ride in a motorboat to visit Temple of Philae, constructed during the Greco Roman times. Our last visit of the day will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. We will then return to our boat for overnight. Our next stop will be to Saqqara, the royal burial site of the 3rd dynasty of the Old Kingdom in Egypt and one of the richest archeological places in Egypt with treasures being discovered until today. The highlight and the centerpiece of Saqqara is the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest surviving stone monument in the whole world and the first proper pyramid to ever be constructed in Egypt in the 27th century BC. This would be a marvelous chance to understand the evolution of the pyramids building in ancient Egypt. The step pyramid is considered to be one of the most important landmarks of pyramids construction in Egypt.
Our last stop of the day will be to Memphis, the first capital of unified Egypt. Established in 32nd century BC by KingNarmer after he unified Upper and Lower Egypt. The city served as the seat of the government until the 22nd century. However, all the displayed exhibited in the open-air museum we will explore today belong to the New Kingdom with the highlights being the amazing Colossi of Ramses II, the alabaster sphinx, and many other statues and items.
Later on, you will proceed to have the lunch meal at local restaurant. After lunch we will drive back to the hotel for rest and refresh. At night, free at leisure on your own in Cairo or (optional) sound & light show at Giza pyramids, where the startling sphinx will tell you the whole story and history behind the creation of the pyramids in an entertaining blend of sounds and lights. Finally, we will get back to the hotel for overnight. (Breakfast & Lunch)

Morning time is free at leisure or (optional) you can enjoy a Hot-air Balloon over the West Bank of Luxor. Enjoy your delicious breakfast before exploring the city of the dead where we can visit Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. The next visit of the day will be to the Temple of Deir El Bahari, constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt. Our first visit of the day will be to the Karnak Temples Complex, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. We will then visit Luxor Temple, another startling temple which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs. After the tour, we will transfer you to your location in Luxor. [Breakfast]
