This tour package consists of 2 parts; the first part is in Cairo to explore the capital of Egypt which includes the most important highlights. You will explore the city within 2 day tours including many visits for many historical sites such as Giza Pyramids, the Step pyramid of Sakkara, the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin & many other sites.
From Cairo, you will drive for overday to Alexandria City, the second capital of Egypt to explore the roman monuments from the date of the Romans in Egypt.
The second part of this tour package will be in Sharm El Sheikh to spend a relaxing time on the Red Sea.
The trip will start and end in Cairo and your arrival and departure will be to and from Cairo International airport.
Upon arrival to Cairo International Airport, you will be met with GAT Tours’ representative, who will help you in passing the passport control and collecting your luggage. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel in Cairo by air-conditioned vehicle with qualified driver. Arrival to your hotel, we will check in the hotel within few minutes! Then you will proceed to your nice room for overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. After that, you will join your English-speaking Egyptologist, who will join you in such awe-inspiring tour to visit the marvelous Pyramids of Giza, constructed around 2500 BC as the necropolis of the kings of the forth dynasty. Also we will see the marvelous sphinx constructed with a body of a lion and the head of a human to guard the pyramids from any threats. Our next visit will be to The Step Pyramid Complex in Sakkara, which is considered to be the oldest surviving stone monument in the whole world and the first proper pyramid to be constructed in ancient Egypt. Enjoy your lunch meal at local restaurant in Cairo. At the end of the tour, we will drive to the city of Memphis to visit The Open Air Museum, which was established in 32nd century BC by King Narmer after he unified Upper and Lower Egypt and became the first capital of the whole country. After finishing your day tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for rest and refresh. Overnight in Cairo. [Breakfast & Lunch]
Breakfast at your hotel. After that, you will join your tour guide to enjoy your second day tour. We begin our visits of the day by exploring The Egyptian Museum, the largest museum in the world with a huge collection of displays dating back to various periods of the ancient Egyptian history including the golden exhibits of Tutankhamen. Enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant. We will then visit the Citadel of Saladin, constructed in the 10th century by Saladin to protect Egypt and became the residence of the rulers of Egypt for a period that lasted more than seven centuries. Finally we will proceed to visit Coptic Cairo Area, including The Hanging Church, the Abu Serga Church and the Church of Saint Mary. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel for rest and refresh.

Upon arrival in Sharm El Sheikh Airport, you will be met by GAT Tours representative to accompany you to your hotel with a private A/C Vehicle. Check in your hotel for relaxing. At night, optional Nile Cruise Dinner can be offered upon your request to enjoy your dinner on the Nile on a sailing cruise for 2 hours with a fantastic show of Tanoora and Belly Dancing.

Breakfast at your hotel. Later on, you’ll be met with our professional Egyptologist, who will join you in such amazing tour in the wonderful city of Alexandria. Our first visit will be to Library of Alexandria, with the ancient library being established in the 3rd century BC and destroyed in the 1st century BC. The library we see today was opened in 2002.
We will visit Roman Amphitheatre, discovered in 1960, the theatre which was established in the 4th century BC with its marble steps is one of its kind in Egypt. We will then visit Qaitbay Citadel (from outside), this citadel was established in the 16th century and became the landmark of Alexandria today. Then visit the cemetery of Catacomb. Later on, we will proceed to have lunch in one of the best local restaurants. After lunch, we will drive back to our hotel in Cairo for overnight. (Breakfast & Lunch)
Check out after breakfast. Later on, you’ll be met with GAT Tours’ Representative who will transfer you by private air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo International Airport in order to catch your departure flight carrying wonderful memories about your last trip in the land of the Nile, Egypt.
