Itinerary

Day 1Arrival to Luxor (Lunch & Dinner)

You will start your new adventure in Luxor by checking in the best Nile Cruise ship and get ready for an amazing stay in the middle of the Nile. 

Your Nile cruise adventure starts with such a delicious lunch on board. Then you will start this lovely tour with the Temple of Karnak. This temple is one of the largest Pharaonic temples in the world. All the items of the Karnak temple date back to more than one thousand years ago during the new kingdom era. 

Then to another charming temple which is the Luxor Temple. This one was built around the 14th century BC and continued for many years as more than one pharaoh participated in the construction process. Ramses II and Queen Hatshepsut were among the pharaohs who participated in the construction.

Day 2Free at Leisure & Sailing to Edfu (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Today is a different morning as you will enjoy your breakfast meal on board first then you can spend the rest of your day free at leisure on board. 

Or, you have a golden chance to explore the West bank of Luxor from the sky! Imagine flying over the great city of Luxor by a Hot Air Balloon, whereas the royal necropolis and the wonderful collection of our funerary temples were erected. 

After such a great adventure, you will return to your ship for relaxing and enjoying the sailing experience down the Nile towards Aswan city, crossing by the two cities of Edfu and Kom Ombo. 

You will enjoy very interesting shows on board such as belly dance shows, Nubian shows and more.

Day 3Temple of Kom Ombo (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Enjoy the most delicious breakfast on board before starting another adventurous day. 

After sailing down the Nile you will reach the Temple of Kom Ombo. This amazing temple was built during the Ptolemaic period and was completed in the Roman era. That’s why this temple was divided into two different sections to worship two different gods, the local crocodile, Sobek and the famous eagle god, Haroeris. 

You will take your time exploring this site then you will get back to your Nile cruise ship where you will enjoy the relaxation feeling in the middle of the Nile. 

Evening time is yours, you can do whatever you want or you can enjoy the Egyptian folklore show on the ship with an unforgettable belly dancer and many other entertaining performances included in your Nile cruise package.

Day 4Free at Leisure on board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Today you will be having lots of free time to do your favorite activities on board directly after enjoying your delicious breakfast meal. 

There will be many activities to join in the morning while exploring the amazing city of Aswan. We will be there for you with full assistance in order for you to visit the old market of Aswan or visit any of the recommended bazaars, so you can buy such nice souvenirs! 

Afternoon is totally free at leisure to relax on board facing the immortal River Nile. You will then have the chance to enjoy such a unique tour by sailing on the Nile by Felucca around Agha Khan Mausoleum and the Kitchener Island (included).

After that, you will get back to the ship to rest and refresh and to enjoy the night mood with the wonderful views of the Nile.

Day 5Dam, Philae & Obelisk (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

In the morning you will enjoy your buffet breakfast with the delicious Egyptian food, then you will get ready to explore Aswan city. 

Let’s start the tour by exploring the most important project in Aswan, the High Dam. This great project was built in the 1960s by the former Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser. The dam helped Egypt to store the water from the flood of the River Nile and it also generated a large volume of electricity. 

Then you will continue sailing but this time with a motorboat to reach Agilika Island. This is the place where you will be able to visit the marvelous Philae Temple. This amazing temple was built in the 3rd century BC during the Greco Roman era, it was made special for the worship of the goddess Isis. 

Let’s end the day by visiting the Unfinished Obelisk, which is one of the remarkable places in the city. It dates back to the New Kingdom and it documents however the miraculous process of the construction of obelisks in ancient Egypt.

Once this marvelous day is over, you will return back to your Nile cruiser, so you can enjoy the tasty lunch and get some relaxing time on board beside the pool and to enjoy the incomparable view of the River Nile.

Day 6Temple of Horus in Edfu (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

The first location for today will be at the Temple of Horus in Edfu where you will be discovering one of the best preserved ancient Egyptian temples in the whole of Egypt. 

The Temple of Horus was built in the 3rd century BC by the Ptolemies in order to worship the god Horus. 

After such an amazing visit, you will get back to your ship where you will enjoy your Egyptian lunch meal while sailing towards the city of Luxor. 

The rest of the day will be free at leisure to relax on board in front of view of the immortal River Nile.!

Day 7Valley of Kings, Deir El Bahari & Colossi of Memnon (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Today’s morning will be free time for you to choose what you really want to do. At this time we will offer you an optional Hot-air Balloon adventure to explore Luxor from the sky, having amazing views of the city. 

Now you will enjoy your delicious breakfast meal then get ready to explore the West bank of Luxor. 

This side of Luxor is known as the city of the dead where you can find the Valley of the Kings. This valley contains the most famous and fascinating tombs from the New Kingdom like  the marvelous one for the great king Tutankhamen. This famous tomb was discovered in 1922 by the Egyptologist  Howard Carter. 

Your next visit will be to the Temple of Deir El Bahari, the one made under the power of Queen Hatshepsut in the 18th dynasty.  This Temple has many interesting features like many terraces and the statues of the Queen with a beard. 

Lastly, you will go to visit the West Bank where you can find the Colossi of Memnon. This site consists of two huge statues remaining from the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III.

After a long and fruitful trip in Luxor city, you will get back to your Nile cruiser to have your delicious lunch meal on board.
