“What a fantastic trip.!”

Egypt – Wow! The service was astoundingly good! GAT tours made our trip memorable in every way! We where met as we climbed off the plane and where waved off on our departure.
Cairo is a busy bustling City, and seeing the Egyptian Museum & Pyramids with our Friendly Egyptologist Guide made the experience even better. Nothing was too much trouble and our every request was met with a smile.
Our Nile Cruise was fantastic and again our Friendly Egyptologist Guide that accompanied us, was filled with knowledge and turned everything into a historic adventure… We saw the High Dam in Aswan, Temples, Valley of the Kings (a highlight) and the Luxor Temple at Sunset and the and Karnak early in the early morning allowing for excellent photographic opportunities. Our Guides generosity and patience was unlimited.
Our trip ended at Hurghada at the Red Sea. What a pity the weather was cold for us. As South Africans we found it chilly as we are used temperatures in the 30 degree mark. Our fully inclusive resort hotel had excellent food and services. The Rooms where not quite the standard we expected from a 5 Star Hotel, but a great time was had by all. Since we could not snorkel due to it being so cold, we went on the submarine boat and got some idea how excellent the snorkelling would have been. We will certainly be returning to the Red Sea at a warmer time of the year for diving and snorkelling.
