I want to let you know how grateful we are for the excellent service we received from you and everyone else at GAT Tours. Our recent trip to Egypt was wonderful, and a large part of the reason was because we didn’t have to worry about any of the details. We could just enjoy the scenery and relax!
We were met at the airports in Cairo and Luxor, checked in at our hotels by your efficient colleagues, taken on interesting tours, escorted to our Nile cruiser and picked up when the cruise was over, taken on a special tour (at our request) to Abu Simbel at the end of our cruise, and whisked from one terminal to the other at Cairo airport on our last day. We tend to travel independently rather than with tours, so we were not accustomed to having so many things done for us. But we are very glad we arranged this trip with GAT Tours. We put ourselves in your hands, and you didn’t let us down on a single detail. In fact, the good service started long before we actually arrived in Cairo, as you worked with us to put together an itinerary that suited our needs and the standard of accommodation we were looking for.
I should add a special word about the guides. We had two different guides in Cairo/Alexandria, one in Luxor, and one to Abu Simbel, in addition to the group guide on the Nile. All of the guides were excellent. We learned a great deal from them, but beyond that, we soon felt like we were traveling with friends.
Thanks to you and the GAT Tours team, we have very pleasant memories of our trip. I highly recommend you to anyone traveling to Egypt.
