04 Days / 03 Nights Program

Day 1Arrival to Aswan and tour to the High Dam, Philae Temple and Felucca Ride in Aswan (Lunch and Dinner)

Morning time, you will be met with GAT Tours’ Representative, who will transfer you by private A-C vehicle to your Nile cruiser. After that, you will visit the High Dam, which was constructed by the president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to store the water of the Nile. We will then ride in a motorboat to visit Temple of Philae, constructed during the Greco Roman times. You will have a chance to sail on the Nile by a felucca. Our last visit of the day will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. We will then return to our boat for overnight. [Lunch and Dinner]

Day 2Tour to Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Energizing breakfast on the cruise. Our Nile Cruise ship will land at the location of the city of Kom Ombo, where we will visit Temple of Sobek & Haroeris, which was established in the Ptolemaic period and completed in the Roman era and was dedicated to two gods, the local crocodile, Sobek and the famous eagle god, Haroeris. After that, we will get back to our boat for rest. Later on, we will visit Temple of Horus in Edfu, the finest preserved ancient Egyptian temple in the land of the Nile. We will then get back to our boat for overnight. [Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner]

Day 3Tour to the West Bank (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Morning time is free at leisure or (optional) you can enjoy a Hot-air Balloon over the West Bank of Luxor. Enjoy your delicious breakfast before exploring the city of the dead where we can visit Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt. This was the burial site of the kings from the New Kingdom. The next visit of the day will be to the Temple of Deir El Bahari, constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt. Our last visit will be to the Colossi of Memnon; these two huge statues are the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC and became a landmark of Luxor afterwards. After that, we will get back to our boat for overnight. [Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner]

Day 4Tour to the East Bank (Breakfast)

Check out after breakfast. Later on, we will move to explore the east bank of Luxor including two marvelous temple complexes. Our first visit of the day will be to the Karnak Temples Complex, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. We will then visit Luxor Temple, another startling temple which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs. After the tour, we will transfer you to your location in Luxor. [Breakfast]

05 Days / 04 Nights Program

Day 1Arrival to Luxor and tour to the East Bank (Lunch and Dinner)

Morning time, you’ll be met by GAT Tours’ Representative, who will transfer you by private Air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise boat. After lunch, you’ll join our expert tour guide to visit Temple of Karnak, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years. We will then visit Luxor Temple, which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and others kings. After the tour, you’ll be transferred to your Nile Cruise. [Lunch and Dinner]

Day 2Tour to the West Bank (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 3Tour to Edfu and Kom Ombo temples (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Energizing breakfast will be served on board before our full day tour. Our Nile Cruise ship will land at the location of the city of Edfu, where we will visit the Temple of Horus, constructed by the Ptolemies in the 3rd century BC for the worship of the god Horus, the avenger of his father. After this marvelous visit, we will get back to our Nile Cruiser for lunch, rest and refresh. We will then proceed to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, established in the Ptolemaic period and completed in the Roman era. Finally, you will be transferred back to your Nile cruise ship for rest and refresh. Evening time, Egyptian folklore show will be operated by the staff. [Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner]

Day 4The High Dam, Philae Temple and Felucca ride in Aswan (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Breakfast meal will be served on board. After that you will prepare yourself to join your expert tour guide to explore the wonderful city of Aswan. Our first visit of the day will be to the High Dam, which was constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to store the water, then generate a large volume of the electricity. We will then ride in a motorboat to visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman era as the cult center of the goddess Isis. Our last visit will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. After the day tour, we will drive back to our Nile cruiser, so we can enjoy the tasty lunch. Evening time, Nubian show, Dinner and overnight on board. [Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner]

Day 5Departure from Aswan (Breakfast)

Check out after breakfast. Transfer to your location in Aswan.
OR optional visit to Abu Simbel; drive by our Air-conditioned vehicle towards Abu Simbel, located to the south of Aswan, near Nubia, to visit the Abu Simbel Temples, simply the greatest achievement of ancient Egypt. Constructed by Ramses II, the two temples are cut out of rocks and buried under the sand for centuries before being discovered in the 19th century. The temples were actually relocated after the building of the High Dam by a UNESCO project.
