Upon arrival to Cairo International Airport, you will be met with GAT Tours’ representative, your best friend for the coming few days, who will help you in passing the passport control and collecting your luggage. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel in Cairo by air-conditioned vehicle with qualified driver. Arrival to your hotel in Cairo, we will check in the hotel within few minutes! Then you will proceed to your nice room for overnight.
Energizing breakfast at the hotel. After that, you will join your English-speaking Egyptologist, who will join you in such awe-inspiring tour to visit the marvelous Pyramids of Giza, constructed around 2500 BC as the necropolis of the kings of the forth dynasty. Also we will see the marvelous sphinx constructed with a body of a lion and the head of a human to guard the pyramids from any threats. Our next visit will be to The Step Pyramid Complex in Sakkara, which is considered to be the oldest surviving stone monument in the whole world and the first proper pyramid to be constructed in ancient Egypt. Breakfast at hotel in Cairo. Check out to transfer to Cairo International Airport to take your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival to Luxor, you will be met by GAT Tours representative to transfer you to your Dahabiya boat assisting you in check in. Embarkation in Luxor. Lunch on board. Then you will start exploring Luxor by visiting its famous great temples. You will visit Temple of Karnak, constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. Our next visit will be to the Luxor Temple, another startling temple which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs.
Dinner and overnight on the West Bank. (Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)
Breakfast on the Dahabiya. Then you will start your day tour to explore the West bank of Luxor. Your first visit will be to the Valley of the Kings, which is the royal burial ground of pharaohs during the New Kingdom (1539 – 1075 B.C). 63 tombs were discovered in the Valley of the Kings, among them, the tomb of Tutankhamen.
The next visit in this day tour will be to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari. Finally, you will visit the two huge statues, the colossi of Memnon. After finishing your day tour, you will return back to your Dahabiay. Lunch on board. Sail to Esna and tea time on the sun deck. Dinner during sailing. Overnight beside an island. Arrive to Aswan early morning. Breakfast on board. Visit the Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman era as the cult center of the goddess Isis. Then visit the High Dam, which was constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to store the water, then generate a large volume of the electricity.

We will then visit the Citadel of Saladin, constructed in the 10th century by Saladin to protect Egypt and became the residence of the rulers of Egypt for a period that lasted more than seven centuries.
