Day 1Arrival to Luxor, Tour to the West & East Bank

Morning time, arrival to Luxor Airport or Luxor Train Station, where you will be met with GAT Tours’ Representative, your best friend for the coming few days, then we will start our land tour in Luxor by exploring the West Bank of Luxor, including the royal tombs of Valley of the Kings, the richest and most fascinating ancient tombs in Egypt.
After that, we will proceed to visit Temple of Deir Elbahari, which was constructed during the reign of the 18th dynasty by Queen Hatshepsut, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt.
Our last visit at the West Bank will be to the Colossi of Memnon, these two huge statues are the only remaining items of the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III constructed in 1350 BC and became a landmark of Luxor afterwards.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, then continue to the East Bank of Luxor, where we can visit the Temple of Karnak, the largest Pharaonic temple complex in the world. Constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom specially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which are constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt.
We will then proceed to visit Luxor Temple, another startling temple which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs.
After this amazing tour, we will transfer you to your hotel in Luxor for rest and refresh. Evening time is free at leisure on your own to relax at the hotel or you can go for an optional tour in Luxor to enjoy your night. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 21st Class Train to Aswan and Aswan City Tour

Enjoy your Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Later on, check out and transfer to Luxor train station for your train to Aswan, arrive to Aswan train station and meet with your tour guide who will accompany you in an amazing day tour in Aswan, where you are going to see the High Dam, constructed in the 1960s by the former Egyptian president, Gamal Abdel Nasser. The dam helped Egypt to store the water from the flood of the River Nile and it also generates a large volume of the electricity of Egypt. It is also considered to be a great architectural achievement.
We will then ride in a motorboat to reach Agilika Island, the new location of the marvelous Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman era as the center of the worship of the goddess Isis. It is one of the most remarkable ancient Egyptian temples that were relocated after the construction of the High Dam and the water of the River Nile affected many historical monuments, the temple was transferred under a huge project funded by many nations and supervised by the UNESCO.
Afternoon enjoying the nice breeze of the Nile with a felucca ride around the Islands in Aswan. The Felucca tour starts with the Elephantine Island, a beautiful place to visit, with wonderful gardens and some truly significant artifacts. It’s considered to be the largest of the Aswan area islands, and is one of the most ancient sites in Egypt. We will also have a view of Agha Khan Mausoleum and chance to enter the beautiful botanical garden in Aswan.

Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Aswan for rest and refresh. Evening time is yours to relax at the hotel or you can go for an optional tour in Aswan to enjoy your night.

Day 3Tour to Abu Simbel Temple & Final Departure.

Breakfast will be served at your hotel. Later on, we will be ready to drive by our A/C vehicle towards Abu Simbel, located to the south of Aswan, near Nubia. Constructed by Ramses II, the two temples are cut out of rocks and buried under the sand for centuries before being discovered in the 19th century. The temples were actually relocated after the building of the High Dam by a UNESCO project.
