Your honeymoon in Egypt starts upon your arrival to Cairo Airport, where you will be met with GAT Tours’ Representative, your best friend for the coming few days, who will help you in passing the passport control and collecting your luggage. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel in Cairo by our private Air-conditioned vehicle. We will check in the hotel within few minutes! Get you room keys and proceed to your room to overnight before the beginning of your awesome honeymoon trip in Egypt.

Later on, you will be met with our professional long-experienced Egyptologist, who will join you today in order to add more amazement to your trip, providing you with all the historical facts, the fabulous legends, and the amazing stories of ancient Egypt and the construction of the various pyramids in Cairo. Our first visit of the day will be to the Pyramids of Giza, the most popular monument in the world. Constructed around 2500 BC as the necropolis of the kings of the fourth dynasty, there is the Grand Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the smaller pyramid of Menkaure and the marvelous limestone statue of Sphinx guarding the pyramids from any threats.
Our next visit of the day will be to Saqqara, the royal burial site of the 3rd dynasty of the Old Kingdom in Egypt and one of the richest archeological places in Egypt with treasures being discovered until today. The highlight and the centerpiece of Saqqara is the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest surviving stone monument in the whole world and the first proper pyramid to ever be constructed in Egypt in the 27th century BC. This would be a marvelous chance to understand the evolution of the pyramids building in ancient Egypt.

Our last stop of the day will be to Memphis, the first capital of unified Egypt. Established in 32nd century BC by King Narmer after he unified Upper and Lower Egypt. The city served as the seat of the government until the 22nd century. However, all the displayed exhibited in the open-air museum we will explore today belong to the New Kingdom with the highlights being the amazing Colossi of Ramses II, the alabaster sphinx, and many other statues and items.

After this amazing tour to the landmarks of Giza, we will have a lunch break to enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. We will then transfer you back to your hotel for rest and refresh. Evening time is yours to relax at the hotel or to go for an optional tour in Cairo to enjoy your night.

Upon arrival to Sharm El Sheikh Airport, you’ll be met with GAT Tours’ Representative there, who will help and assist you in all formalities at the airport. Then, you’ll be transferred by private Air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh for check in, rest and refresh. The rest of the day is free at leisure for swimming, snorkeling, diving or even chilling out at the wonderful beaches of this amazing city.

Evening time is free at leisure on your own in Sham El Sheikh, so you can explore this amazing city by night. Sharm El Sheikh is famous for hosting the largest number of nightspots including restaurants, cafes, discoes, bars, shops, and various stores and different types of entertainment.

Today we will check out from the hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, and then drive to the holy city of St. Catherine. Normally it takes less than two hours by car. On arrival to St. Catherine, we will proceed to check in the hotel there to have some rest before climbing the Moses Mountain in the first hours of the morning.
Dinner meal at your hotel is included, then the rest of the evening is free at leisure in the sacred city, where the prophet Moses talked to the god and the holy family passed during their famous trip to Egypt.

With the beginning of the day, you’ll be met with GAT Tours’ Representative, who will join in you in this Real Adventure by climbing the mountains of Sinai or the Mountain of Moses, where the prophet Moses received the commandments of the god. This mountain is more than 2500 above sea level and offer marvelous views of the sunrise over the mountains of Sinai in a magnificent atmosphere.
After the sunshine, we will go down the mountain in order to visit the Monastery of St. Catherine, constructed in the 4th century AD as one of the oldest monasteries in the world. The monastery is still operating until today and it is featured with its marvelous architectural elements and its wonderful ambience.

By the afternoon, we will drive back to Sharm El Sheikh by our private air-conditioned vehicle. Arrive to Sharm El Sheikh and proceed to your hotel for check in, rest and refresh. After almost one hour, your flight arrives to Cairo Airport, where GAT Tours’ Representative will be waiting for your peaceful arrival.
We will then leave the airport and drive along the way to your hotel in Cairo. Upon arrival to the hotel, you will get the keys of your room to relax and have some rest. At night, free at leisure on your own in Cairo, the capital, clean, safe and modern city. You can enjoy a free tour around your hotel or we can offer very good places that you can explore by night like the Cairo tower and other interesting places. After your free tour, you will get back to your hotel to spend your first night in Egypt before the superb coming days enjoying your Honeymoon in Egypt.

Breakfast at your hotel. After that, you’ll join your expert tour guide in such awe-inspiring tour in the city center of Cairo. We begin our visits of the day by exploring the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, the largest museum in the world with a huge collection of displays dating back to various periods of the ancient Egyptian history with the highlights being the golden exhibits of Tutankhamen, the mummies’ hall, large impressive reliefs, statues, and many other fascinating items.
Our next visit of the day will be to the marvelous Coptic Cairo Area including the most unique collection of our Coptic monuments and Churches. We will have the chance to visit the Hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga, the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra and other attractive monuments.

We will then proceed to have a lunch break at local restaurant. After lunch we will visit the Citadel of Saladin, constructed in the 10th century by Saladin to protect Egypt and became the residence of the rulers of Egypt for a period that lasted more than seven centuries. The citadel itself is one of the most impressive medieval fortresses and it contains many remarkable monuments like the famous Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Mosque of El Nasser Mohamed, and many interesting museums. This is besides offering the guests amazing panoramic views of the city of Cairo. After finishing your day tour, we will get back to the hotel for rest and refresh.
