Such is Jerusalem, the only city in the world that has 70 names of love and yearning, the city that in old maps appears at the center of the world and is still adored like a young bride.
Jerusalem, a city of overwhelming emotions, a city that promises a religious and spiritual experience, excitement and pleasure, interesting tours and entertaining adventures. Here, alongside Jerusalem’s fascinating historic and archeological sites, there are amazingly modern tourist attractions for all lovers of culture, the arts, theater and music, architecture and gastronomic delights.
If you are wondering how Jerusalem became such a center of religions and spirituality and a pilgrimage site for millions of tourists from around the world, the answer begins thousands of years ago. Jerusalem’s history is one of wars and struggles. Its strategic location attracted many nations that wanted to capture the city, and some of them did rule over it for various periods. This city has known war and peace, love and hate, riches and poverty, destruction and renewal, happiness and pain.
From the very beginning, Jerusalem has been the one and only, a unique city second to none in the whole world.
Upon arrival to Tel Aviv airport, you’ll be met with our English-speaking representative who will help and asisst you in all formalities. Later on, you will be transferred by private A-C van to your chosen hotel in Jerusalem for check in and overnight. [No Meals]
Breakfast will be served at your hotel. After that you’ll be transferred to Mount Scopus and the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Agony Church. Later on, we will proceed to visit the Western Wall. Continue to Mount Zion to visit the Tomb of King David, the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey. Then, we will drive to Ein Karem to visit the place of birth of John the Baptist. Enjoy your tour to visit of the Holocaust Museum. In the afternoon visit Bethlehem, the Church of the Nativity, the Grotto of St. Jerome and St. Catherine ‘s Church. After finsihing your day tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Jerusalem for overnight. [Breakfast]
Breakfast will be served at your hotel. Later on, we will depart to visit the 14 Stations of the Via Dolorosa, visiting the Church of the Flagellation, the Chapel of the Condemnation and the Holy Sepulchre. Continue through the Jewish Quarter and the Roman Cardo. After that, we will continue driving to the city of Jertusalem for a panoramic City Tour. View of the city and its main attractions: THE Knesset (Parliament) Presidential Residence, the Municipal Theatre. Finally, we will visit the Museum of the Book and the Model of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus. After finishing your day tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Jerusalem for overnight. Breakfast will be served at your hotel. Later on, free at leisure in your own in Jerusalem or (optioanl) tour to Massada and the Dead Sea can be offered upon your request. Finally, you’ll get back to your hotel for overnight. [Breakfast]
Check out after breakfast. Later on, you’ll be met with our English-speaking representative who will transfer you by private A-C van to Ben Gurion Airport in order to catch your flight to back home. [Breakfast]
