A support message appears on the great pyramid in Egypt

Egypt lights the great pyramid with a special message to support and thank people who work in the medical field in order to fight against coronavirus, from doctors to nurses and all the hospitals’ workers.

The message was written in both languages Arabic and English, said “Stay home, Stay safe” “Thank you to those keeping us safe”. This message appears on the Great pyramid on Monday night the 30th of March 2020.

The Egyptian government has decided to extend the closure date of the important and touristic sites to the 15th of April until the general situation stabilizes.

The situation now in Egypt as the following:

  • The county is now in a two-week curfew starts from 7 PM to 6 AM
  • The borders are closed and flights are canceled for a short period to  prevent the spread of the virus
  • Cases with symptoms similar to the symptoms of the COVID-19 Virus are fully quarantined in specialized hospitals.

Egypt Now reaches 609 cases infected with COVID-19 Virus, There are about 132 cases recovered and about 40 deaths.
