Your first trip for today will start at the masterpiece of the whole of Egypt, the Great Pyramids of Giza. This great site was built around 2500 BC to be the royal burial site for the kings from the 4th dynasty. Those 3 pyramids were for kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, plus the marvelous sphinx statue in front of the e pyramids as the main guard.

Next, you will head to explore the wonderful sites at Saqqara city. You have to visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser which is the very first pyramid to be built in Egypt and the oldest surviving stone monument in the whole world. The pyramid was built in the 27th century BC in a city that was considered the main royal burial site for the kings from the 3rd dynasty.

Your second visit will be to Memphis city where you will enjoy discovering the first and the oldest capital for unified Egypt. King Narmer was able to unify Upper and Lower Egypt in the 32nd century BC and built this marvelous city.

Then you will go to enjoy your Lunch time at one of the best restaurants in town.

After having your Lunch, you will get back to your hotel to get some rest and refreshment. Your evening time will be free to enjoy exploring the city of Cairo on your own or you can join us in one of our optional tour in Cairo to enjoy your night.

Today is a special and unique day as you will leave your hotel in Cairo to fly directly towards Aswan city. You will head to Cairo Airport in order to catch your domestic flight to Aswan. Once you reach Aswan city, you will meet GAT Tours’ Representative who will assist you with everything during your stay in Aswan.

Your accommodation in Aswan will be at one of the best Nile Cruises in Aswan. You will check in the ship and then you will enjoy the lunch meal on board.

Your Egyptologist will take you on your first visit in Aswan which will be the High Dam. This great project was built in the 1960s during the region of president Gamal Abdel Nasser. This dam was created to store the extra water from the Nile’s flood and also to generate electricity for the whole of Egypt.

Let’s get into a motorboat ride to reach Agilika Island where you will be visiting the marvelous Philae Temple. This great temple was built in the 3rd century BC during the Greco Roman era to worship the goddess Isis. You will be having a great tour around the temple in its new location after UNESCO was able to transfer the whole temple from its original site to save it from the damage of the Nile flood.

The last visit for today will be at the Unfinished Obelisk, which was the largest piece of stone humans ever dealt with but it didn’t get completed. This site Dates back to the New Kingdom.

After such an amazing day, you will get back to your beloved Cruise to get some rest. The rest of your day will be free on the board to enjoy the atmosphere with the charming views of the Nile.

Your next day in Upper Egypt will be so special, as you will head to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. The construction of this temple was started in the ptolemaic period and was completed in the Roman era. This is why the temple has two gods to worship, the local crocodile, Sobek and the famous eagle god, Haroeris.

Then, you will get back to your ship to continue sailing towards the city of Edfu while enjoying your lunch meal on board.

Once you reach Edfu city you will start visiting the Temple of Horus which is one of the best preserved temples from ancient Egypt. The temple was built during the Ptolemies era in the 3rd century BC in order to worship the god Horus.

Now, you will get back to your Cruise at the Evening to get some relaxing time while enjoying Classic Music or night parties by the staff.

Today, you will be exploring the wonders of Luxor city but you will start the day by trying our optional early in the morning which will be a Hot Air Balloon ride. During this ride you will be having a special tour to Luxor city but from the sky. We consider this part to be the most amazing one of our tours to Egypt, where we explore the unique collection of our rare monuments.

The first visit on the grounds of Luxor will be to the famous site of the Valley of the Kings. This site is rich with many ancient tombs for the kings from the New Kingdom. Most of The tombs there have marvelous wall paintings that will catch your attention.

The Temple of Deir Elbahari will be your next destination for today. This great building was constructed in the 18th dynasty by the great Queen Hatshepsut. This great temple has many terraces and some statues for the Queen with a beard.
Let’s continue exploring the West Bank of luxor and start by visiting the Colossi of Memnon which was built in 1350 BC. This site consists of two huge statues remaining from the great funerary temple of Amenhotep III.

A new day in Luxor, where we can continue touring in this rich city.

After breakfast, you will join our Egyptologist tour guide to visit Temple of Karnak, the largest Pharaonic temple complex in the world. Constructed over a period of more than one thousand years, almost all the impressive items of the Karnak we see today date back to the new kingdom, especially the huge amazing columns of the hypostyle hall which were constructed by Ramses II, the greatest builder of ancient Egypt. This temple is very attractive for the first time visitors who enjoy their tour to Egypt.

Our next visit of the day will be to the Temple of Luxor, another startling temple which was established around the 14th century BC and the construction continued for many years afterwards by Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and many other Pharaohs. The temple is featured with its variety of design outlines and architecture. This is besides the huge two statues of Ramses II which ornament the façade of the temple.

After finishing this amazing day tour, we will drive towards Hurghada, situated around 290 Kilometers to the North East of Luxor. Upon arrival at Hurghada, you’ll be transferred to your hotel there. We will check in within a few minutes! .

Today you are going to complete the missing part of the tour by visiting the amazing city of Alexandria, the second capital of Egypt as believed. After breakfast, you’ll join your expert tour guide to drive towards Alexandria, a distance that takes around 3 hours by car. Maybe it is a long time, but really the sites there deserve it.

Begin your tour in Alexandria by visiting the Library of Alexandria, with the ancient library being established in the 3rd century BC and destroyed in the 1st century BC, the library we see today which is a huge wonderful architectural work, was opened in 2002.

Your next visit will be to the Roman Amphitheater, discovered in 1960, the theater which was established in the 4th century BC with its marble steps is one of its kind in Egypt.

Then you will head to visit Qaitbay Citadel (from outside), this citadel was established in the 16th century and became the landmark of Alexandria today.

Later on, you will proceed to have lunch in one of the best local restaurants in Alexandria. After lunch, you will drive back to Cairo.
